VETROinTERACTIVE - Interactive glazed partition wall with touch technology

VETROinTERACTIVE project arise from the need to communicate in a dynamic and interactive way. It is based on touch screen technology combined with rear projection on a holographic or LCD film.
The fundamental contribution that Vetroin has introduced is the perfect integration of this technology within the glazed partition walls that Vetroin manufactures. This means that any glazed panel of Vetroin partition wall is potentially an element that can communicate interactively through the touch.
VETROinTERACTIVE system can be in different shapes and sizes: from 42 up to 100 inches in 4/3 or 16/9 format.



Technical specifications

VETROinTERACTIVE system consists of a special glazed panel, a computer and a projector.
The computer is equipped with special software and receives commands from the touch screen glass. The computer in turn sends the images to the projector.
The laminated glass contains, between one layer and another, a special touch screen film (that has some nano-filaments extremely thin) and a second holographic film (or alternatively an LCD film). The “touch” film sends the information to the processor that, in a few thousandths of a second, calculates the position of the finger on the glass, simulating the function of the computer mouse.
No cable connection is visible, but only a glazed panel that when it is not used as a touch screen is in effect part of the partition wall.
